I try and meditate every day just for 10 minutes. The Calm app is a big help for this with great content and guided meditations.
My top 5 tips to successfully start your day right are:
- Don't pick up your phone straight away to look at emails and social media;
- Write down just 3 things to do that day. You want to avoid overwhelm and punishing yourself if you don't get the things you wanted to done;
- Write down 5 things you are grateful for;
- Meditate for 10 minutes;
- Read/listen to a personal development book for 10 minutes.
